unexpected

I discovered today that a girl I went to junior high and high school with passed away a few days ago. It is quite shocking as it is so unexpected. She was one of my Facebook friends and I had talked to her a couple of times over the past year, the last time being a few months ago when she was pulled over by by a police officer who happened to be a guy we went to school with. It was quite the funny story. Her Facebook page has now turned into a memorial of sorts, with dozens of my old classmates posting their remembrances. The crazy thing is that you can scroll down and still see her last few status posts. She was really excited about catching a fish while fishing last week but said she was really tired and not feeling so well. The next day she passed away suddenly due to a blood clot in her lung. It's just really crazy to think about it like that, especially since she was really active and always playing on several sports teams. So sudden. Rest in peace.
